Chesterfield County (VA) Gives a Green Light for EMCs

The Chesterfield County Planning Commission, which has jurisdiction over a large suburban area located near Richmond, VA, voted last Tuesday to send a new, business-friendly sign ordinance to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation for approval. The proposed ordinance will simplify the county’s arduous application and approval process for local businesses seeking to install on-premise Electronic Message Centers (EMCs).
